Laying cards have been with us since the 14th century. When they first became a part of popular culture. Perhaps seen as a miniature representation of the cosmos. Over the centuries packs of cards have been used for games. Gambling, education, conjuring. Or the portrayal of national or ethnic identity. The most interesting aspect is the imaginative artwork and graphic design.
